In addition to the river flooding we are at extreme risk for rain induced landslides. Reports from across the County indicate that many of our streams and creeks are already running high and it is raining heavily in many areas.

Areas of the County that were cut off due to high water in the November 2006 or November 2008 floods will again take water from this event. Please provide the widest dissemination of the challenges we are going to face so that our residents, schools, farmers, and business owners can make informed decisions and not be caught off guard by rapidly rising water.

Please note that many of the rivers will rise into flood stage / crest in the hours of darkness  this will hamper residents and responders efforts and awareness. We anticipate full activation of the EOC and Call Center tomorrow morning  additional information to follow this afternoon.

• The N Fork StillaguamishRiver near Arlington forecast to rise to 14.1 feet by 10 PM on Wednesday (Mod Flood Stage).
  
• The StillaguamishRiver at Arlington forecast to rise to 19.82 feet by 4 AM on Thursday (Maj Flood Stage).
