Snohomish County Fire District 7 recently hired Jeffrey Walker to replace a position that was vacated in December.

Walker has 6 years of experience as a firefighter and emergency medical technician, most recently working for Boeing Fire Department.

Walker will start at the Washington State Patrol Fire Academy on January 22 where he will complete 480 hours of fire training.

After completion of the academy in April he will start on shift as a probationary firefighter.
