Water damage forces relocation of immunization clinic

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. – A broken water pipe has caused significant damage to the main floor of the Snohomish Health District’s downtown Everett location. As of Monday, Feb. 2, the immunization clinic and tuberculin skin testing services will be relocated to the south county location at 6101 – 200th St SW, Lynnwood, Wash.

“We realize this may present an inconvenience for our north end residents,” said Nancy Furness, communicable disease division director the Health District. “However, we felt the decision to relocate the Everett clinic services helps to minimize disruptions for both the customers and our staff while we do repairs.”

Immunization services will now be available Monday thru Friday in Lynnwood, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for the lunch hour. HIV testing and STD referral services will remain at the Everett location, but have been moved to the 2nd floor.

The Health District has contacted customers with previously scheduled appointments to inform them of the change, and is also working to get notices out to community partners.
