Snohomish County Public Works’ Solid Waste Division will be closing the Southwest Recycling and Transfer Station (SWRTS) in Mountlake Terrace for repairs to the tipping floor Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2015. SWRTS will reopen for regular business on Monday, May 18.

During repairs, garbage and yard waste will not be accepted. However, the recycling area will remain open during regular hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Alternate facilities will be available to use on the days SWRTS is closed:

• Airport Road Recycling & Transfer Station – 10700 Minuteman Drive, Everett
• North County Recycling & Transfer Station – 19600 63rd Avenue NE, Arlington
o Garbage (both facilities):
Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
o Recycling (both facilities):
Monday - Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
