Student Section:

 

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Wednesday, October 24 -3:00-6:30 PM and

October 25  7:30-10:30  11:30-2:30 and 4:00-7:30 PM

Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 are non-student days.

 

Sno- Isle information: Students are not required to attend Sno-Isle on GPs conference days, October 25th and 26th next week.  They can always still attend but will need to find their own transportation.

 

Attention all band, choir and drama students: During Grizzly Period on Tuesday, our theater manager Beth Rand, will be speaking in the Auditorium about theater safety and etiquette. She has asked that all students who regularly use the stage to attend. Please plan to attend.

 

Calling all music advocates, musicians and friends in song! The GPHS Choir invites you to vote on officers and a constitution on November 14th at 7:00pm in the GPHS Commons.  Help our GPHS Choir Families start the first ever, GPHS Choir Booster Club and enable them to support their talented singers. There will be apple pie and you could win the drawing for your very own entire apple pie.  Mmmmmm!

 

The Fall Band Concert will be held October 23rd at 7pm in the auditorium. Come spend an enjoyable evening listening to the sweet sounds of our Band! Bring a friend!

 

Are you a loyal fan? Then show off your Grizzly Pride and join the Loyal Fan Club. If you attend 5 different fall events, then you will win a free Super- Fan t-shirt. Anything from soccer to cross country to the fall play! Come and get your loyal fan card in the Main Office.

 

Winter sports Interest meeting will be October 23rd during Grizzly Period...Girls Basketball in Hill's Room 106 ...Boys basketball in Bonner's room 305...Wrestling in Mossburg's room.113...Boys swim in the coaches meeting room 703.

 

National Honor Society volunteer hours available for current members- help with the Totem Falls Harvest Party on November 2nd.  Please see Ms. Bowden in room 310 if you are interested.

 

Traffic Safety Education forms are now available in the Counseling office.

Every Tuesday and Thursday until November 12 we will have winter sports conditioning. For any athlete or person interested, meet Mr. Blair in the upper gym at 2:45 for conditioning and then at 3:15 we will meet with Mr. Bonner in the weight room for strength conditioning. All are welcome!

 

Glacier Peak DECA is holding an Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough and more fundraiser for the month of October.  With the holiday season right around the corner, this is a good time to stock up on those special treats!  Please place an order with on the marketing students, in room 206 or at the front desk in the main office.  A tub of 36 cost $16.00!  Place your orders today or you have until October 22.  All deliver of Otis Spunkmeyer products will be the week of November 12  16, right before Thanksgiving!  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Alicia Sents by email (alicia.sents@sno.wednet.edu).
