Glacier Peak high school in Snohomish has guaranteed themselves a trophy in this year's state basketball playoffs at the Tacoma Dome. After yesterday's loss to fourth-ranked lakes it was a far away dream to think that they would be coming home with a trophy but in today's game they prove they have what it takes. The Grizzlies took the Vikings to the woodshed by controlling the boards and outscoring from all points on the floor. Final score Glacier Peak 52 and Rainier Beach 45. Glacier Peak finds themselves in a very familiar position by playing the Bellevue Wolverines who knocked them out of the state football playoffs during the quarterfinals in November. Glacier Peak and Bellevue will be competing for either fourth or seventh place respectively; the game is Saturday at 1:30 PM in the Tacoma Dome.
