Body Found in Residential Fire
At 3:30 p.m. on October 12, Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to a garage fire in the 18600 block of 87th Ave. SE in Clearview (unincorporated Snohomish County).
While conducting a primary search of the residence, crews found a body on the second story.
Although the fire was extending from the garage to the house, crews arrived quickly enough to extinguish it before it spread.
The Snohomish County Sherriffs Office is conducting a death investigation, and the Snohomish County Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
Overall, approximately 24 fire personnel responded, including one unit from Monroe Fire District 3.
Information on the victim will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiners Office.

Boating Incident Leads to Rescue & Recovery

Nutter not so dangerous anymore
Suspect Vincent Nutter, 22, has been taken into custody by the Snohomish County Violent Offenders Task Force following a call from a citizen who spotted the suspect walking down a nearby road.

Armed and Dangerous Snohomish Manhunt
Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office closed off an area in the Clearview – Mill Creek neighborhood today while they actively searched for a suspect who they believed was armed and dangerous.

SR 410 Chinook Pass reopens
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will reopen the east gate to Chinook Pass at Morse Creek, five miles east of the summit at 10 a.m. Friday.
