Nudist Park participates in National Trail Days

Snohomish Mayor loves to compare city to Sultan but Snohomish doesn’t have anything like this!

The Lake Bronson Family Nudist Park will participate in National Trail Days, sponsored by the American Hiking Society, with a family-friendly, clothing-optional guided hike through its 320-acre Stewardship Forest on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.

The Northwest has lots of wonderful scenery, but the one unique feature Lake Bronson offers that no one else does is that we can hike safely and legally NAKED in a beautiful, family-friendly environment.

This will be a mid-difficulty hike of approximately 3.5 miles. The loop hike will follow the Lake Bronson trail system and showcase the rich bio-diversity of this Stewardship forest. Also included are the Sultan River and Marsh Creek Falls and the shoreline of Lake Bronson. The hike is scheduled for later in the day to allow the forest a chance to warm up. The guides will be nude, weather permitting, and participants are invited to also enjoy the forest au natural on this nude hike. A brief orientation will occur prior to the hike, and refreshments will be served afterward. All park entrance fees are waived for participants of this event, and hikers are invited to join as our guests at the international-themed potluck in the evening.

We are an 85-year-old family nudist park with a strong commitment to conservation and forest management on our diverse 320 acres. As a health conscious organization, we promote outdoor recreation and have developed an extensive trail system. Because we are a family nudist park, a routine background check will be performed on all attending. Children are welcome and encouraged. The hike is nude (weather permitting) and will not leave our private 320-acre Stewardship Forest where nudity is legal and encouraged.

1:30 PM Brief orientation / trail info / history of the park / conservation discussion

2:00 PM Mid-difficulty 3.5 mile hike including diverse ecosystems from young forest to nearly old growth, the Sultan River, 2 fish-bearing streams including an 85' waterfall, a 9 acre lake, and wetlands.

4:00 PM Refreshments in Lodge
