Abandoned Home a Complete Loss

Clearview, Wash. – A passerby called 9-1-1 just after 2 a.m. to report a residential fire in the 22300 block of 39th Ave. SE in unincorporated Snohomish County.

Firefighters arrived to find what appeared to be an abandoned home engulfed in flames.

It was already too dangerous for firefighters to go inside so they fought the fire from the exterior.

Once the fire was under control they were able to confirm the home was vacant.

More than 20 firefighters responded, including an engine from Bothell Fire. There were no injuries.

The home was a total loss. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal's is investigating the cause of the fire.
