Tulalip Tribe Donates to Cascade Valley Hospital

(Arlington, WA) The Tulalip Tribe has donated $50,000 via the Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation for Oso Landslide Relief.

“We are so humbled and deeply grateful for this gift from the Tulalip Tribes” said Jennifer Egger, board member with Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation. “The tribe’s story of recovering from a landslide at Camano Head in the 1820s was inspiring, and we are proud to be their neighbors.”

Tulalip Tribes The Tulalip Tribes is a federally-recognized Indian tribe located in the mid-Puget Sound area. The Tulalip Reservation was reserved for the use and benefit of Indian tribes and bands signatory to the Treaty of Point Elliott of January 22, 1855. The governing body is the seven-member Tulalip Board of Directors. As of April 19, 2004, the Tribes has 3,611 active members living and active on the reservation. The Tribes provides many services to its members including preschool, higher education assistance, health and dental clinics, a pharmacy, a state-licensed chemical dependency recovery program, senior retirement home and cultural activities

The Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation is accepting donations for Oso Landslide Relief. All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of the money will go to the Oso fund with no overhead costs. To give:
