LAKE STEVENS, WASH. — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit is investigating an incident involving an on-duty patrol deputy who is believed to have struck and seriously injured a 51 year-old Lake Stevens man early Saturday morning in his patrol car.

According to accident investigators, the Snohomish County deputy was on routine patrol driving SR92 near Callow Rd when he struck the pedestrian in the roadway. It was reported that the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and had headphones on at the time of the incident.
