At approximately, 10:40 a.m., Marysville Police officer assigned to Marysville-Pilchuck High School reported an active shooter inside the school, located in the 5600 block of 108th St NE.

Marysville Police located two victims fatally wounded in the shooting with four individuals injured. One of the fatalities is the lone gunman. The other victim is a female. Three of the four individuals injured in the shooting have been transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett for treatment. Gender of the three transported is two females and one male. The fourth injured female was treated on scene and released.

The school has been completely searched and the scene is now secure. Investigators from the Snohomish Multi-Agency Response Team are now on scene and will conduct the investigation into the shooting. There are approximately 30 students and staff that were witnesses to the shooting that are still on campus working with the SMART team.

A reunification station has been established at Shoultes Gospel Hall, 5200 block of 116th St NE, to allow parents to be reunited with their students. Snohomish County Red Cross is assisting families at the reunification center.

Marysville Public Work officials report that road closures will be in effect along 108th Street NE between 51st and 67th Avenues, as well as the entrance to the school on 51st near 112th. Detours are posted, and alternative routes are recommended. Motorists north of 51st should use 136th to and from State Avenue to the west, and 132nd for drivers heading east to 67th.
