Imagine Children's Museum New Year's Eve Nighttime Party

Imagine Children’s Museum is hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 3rd annual “New Year’s Eve: A Family Night to Remember” at Imagine Children’s Museum. Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth will be playing kid-friendly music and entertaining the crowd with non-stop fun all evening in the Lodge. Comedian and juggler Eric Haines will roam throughout the Museum delighting guests with his one-man-band. There will also be face painting and balloon art creations courtesy of Zero and Somebuddy.

Guests will be invited to make Play-Doh creations in the Art Studio, go on a scavenger hunt throughout the Museum, play BINGO and other games in the Greatroom and make hats and noisemakers in the Lodge. There will also be many other exciting activities for families with children of all ages.

At 9:00 p.m. party guests will join in a traditional New Year’s Eve countdown, echoing New York City’s famous Times Square ball drop. The countdown will feature a custom-made lighted ball, 3 feet in diameter, that will be lowered 40 feet, outside of the Museum - weather permitting.

Tickets to this year’s New Year’s Eve Family Night to Remember are $10 for Museum members or $15 for non-members, per person. Tickets may be purchased at the Museum’s Visitor Services desk, as well as online at: www.imaginecm.org/newyearsparty.
