Fire District 7 Accepting Resumes

Snohomish County Fire District 7 is accepting resumes for position #2 on the Board of Fire Commissioners. The position will be appointed by the current board and serve until a qualified person is elected at the next election (November 2015). The appointed individual may choose to run in this election. The person elected would take office as soon as the election results are validated and serve the remainder of the unexpired term (through 2021).

Applicants are asked to explain why they are interested in becoming a member of the Board of Fire Commissioners, and describe any relevant experience. Applicants must be a registered voter and resident of Snohomish County Fire District 7. The deadline for resumes is 5 p.m. on January 23, 2015. Resumes should be addressed to: Camille Tabor, Snohomish County Fire District 7, 8010 180th St. SE, Snohomish, WA 98296. Interviews will be conducted on January 28 and February 3, 2015 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Position #2 was held by Neil Doherty who resigned in December when he no longer met the residency requirement.
