SANDTASTIC

Sandtastic! is a FREE outdoor community event for the whole family presented by Imagine Children’s Museum on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The family fun begins at 10:00 a.m. at Imagine Children’s Museum’s FREE outdoor event, Sandtastic! Wall Street in front of the Museum and a portion of the Museum’s parking lot will be home to this summer community event.

Professional sand sculptors will create unforgettable designs made with specialty sand brought in by the truckload just for this occasion. Other special guests include Insane Chastain Balloons, comedic performer Cap’n Arrr, and music with DJ Moose Moran.

There will be hula music and dancing, a rock-climbing wall, tasty treats available for purchase, fantastic summer games and activities, and more.

All outdoor Sandtastic! activities are free to the public. Anyone staying in an Everett hotel or motel will also receive free admission into the Museum for the whole family. Proof of stay in the form of a hotel/motel room key or receipt for the nights of August 14th, 15th or 16th will be required at the door for free entry on the 16th only.

Regular $9.80 Museum admission applies to all others for indoor activities. Museum hours for indoor activities are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sandtastic! is funded in part by the City of Everett Hotel/Motel Tax Fund.
