In 2006, the event attracted about 9,000 motorcycles and 24,000 people. The motorcycle show has grown steadily since it started with 500 motorcycles in 1997. There was a strong police presents and the atmosphere was anything but the stereo-typical biker event. Traffic in small town Snohomish was heavy but kept moving. John Hanson said he and his family came up from Seattle and traffic was heavy everywhere. "I wish that our leaders would see that we need more roads. I guess until they do I will learn to be patient. My family comes up to Snohomish for the show every year." All the spectators seem to be enjoying the day.
