Lynnwood Walk & Talk

Join an interactive walking tour and conversation to discuss changes to the community surrounding the site of the future Lynnwood Sound Transit light rail station. We’ll stop at seven locations to discuss future plans for the neighborhood including the future light rail station, economic development, faster bus service, and an update to the City’s Trail Master Plan. Learn how walking will play an important role in the design and development of healthy, safe and connected places where people live, work, and play.

The short walk will end with a light reception in which community members will interact with presenters to provide feedback on a plan to make it more accessible to the future light rail station and surrounding areas.

Speakers: Lisa Quinn, Feet First
Dustin Akers, City of Lynnwood
Roland Behee, Community Transit
Carol Hunter, Washington State Department of Transportation
Gwen McCullough, Sound Transit

When: April 2, 2016 10 AM-12PM

Where: Verdant Health Commission, 4710 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036
