Search warrants served in Everett

Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department with the service of a search warrant at several locations within Everett on Thursday.

On Sept. 14, 2017, beginning at 10 a.m. the Everett Police Department, along with multiple law enforcement agencies, assisted the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department with tracking down and serving search warrants for evidence on confirmed gang members in various locations throughout the city of Everett. The additional law enforcement agencies that participated in this operation were the Snohomish Regional Drug and Gang Task Force (SRDGTF), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), and the US Marshall’s Task Force.

During this operation four males were contacted and the search warrant was served on them. One of the males was an adult and three were juveniles. During the contacts two of the juveniles were found to be in possession of semi-automatic handguns. They were booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center on the unlawful weapons possession charges. The other two males were released.

This operation is the result of on-going efforts to combat gang activity in Snohomish County
