To Deep for first Tow Truck    Print Snohomish Times

Unfortunate circumstances put Aaron, the driver of the SUV, in the ditch around 10:30 am today. Aaron stated he was headed west bound on Marsh road when he lost control of his Isuzu Trooper and wound up in a very deep ditch. This presented a particular problem for Sean and Stacy, the tow truck drivers from Ron May towing, because the depth in this area was approximately 12 feet and they felt that a larger tow truck would be needed. Sean placed a call to dispatch and not long a larger tow truck arrived. As you can see in the images, the ditch is very deep! To give you some perspective, Stacy is about 6 feet tall and the vehicle he's standing on is a SUV, a big vehicle. The trick is to get it out with the least amount of damage.

Marsh road travels through the valley between Hwy 9 and Seattle Hill road. The ditches that follow Marsh road and that crisscross the valley floor help control flooding and water runoff. They are all coordinated with the very complex diking system, their depths can reach 16 to 20 feet deep in some areas. There were no injuries in this mishap.
