Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to 121 calls the week of June 29 to July 5. Automatic Fire Alarms: 5 Brush Fires: 21 Fires: 3 Medical Aid: 67 Motor Vehicle Collisions: 4 Mutual Aid: 16 Odor Investigations: 1 Service Calls: 4 July 5: At 10:06 p.m., Fire District 7 responded to the 16100 block of 35th Drive SE for a report of a neighbors smoke alarm sounding with no one answering the door. When crews arrived, they searched the home to confirm no one was home. Food had been left on the stove. Crews secured the stove and found no damage. July 4: At 1:49 p.m., Fire District 7 responded to the 19100 block of 20th Drive SE for a report of a neighbors smoke alarm sounding. When crews arrived, they discovered no one was home and food had been left on the stove. Crews secured the stove and found no damage. July 1: At 5:11 p.m., Fire District 7 responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 182nd Place SE and 35th Ave SE. One patient was transported to a local hospital; one other was uninjured. June 30: At 5:35 p.m. Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to a report of a roof fire in the 5100 block of 176th St. SE (unincorporated Bothell). Upon arrival, crews found flames coming from nearly 50 percent of the roof. The fire is believed to have started from fireworks. The preliminary damage assessment values the loss of the structure at 1.2 million and the contents at $800,000. Overall, 30 fire personnel responded including two units from Snohomish County Fire District 26. Crews from Monroe Fire District 3 and Snohomish County Fire District 1 moved into Fire District 7 to help cover other calls during the fire.
