Glacier Peak Grizzlies vs Jackson Basketball
The No. 9 ranked Glacier Peak Grizzlies lost a barn-burner to Jackson Tuesday night after leading all the way into the fourth. This two year old team showed that it can play with the best-of-them.
Brett Kingma put up 32 points to lead Jackson in win over Glacier Peak, 87-77. Marshall Massengale 14 and Ryan Todd added 36 for the Jackson Timberwolves WESCO 4A.
Jack Bonner dropped in 20 points for the Glacier Peak Grizzlies along with Drew Cummins 17, Brandon Hill 16 and Nick Persha 14 adding points to make this a great game.

FEMA Awards Evergreen State College Over $1 Million For Seismic Retrofits

County lifts burn ban for unincorporated areas
A burn ban imposed July 15 for unincorporated areas of Snohomish County has been lifted.
Individuals with residential burn permits are now able to have controlled fires. Recreational fires also are allowed in approved fire pits and do not need a burn permit.
