NO budget?

It is so simple and vital. Families, businesses, and state and local governments across America do it every year, laying out realistic goals for spending and revenue so they can responsibly plan for their future.

But, as of today, Harry Reids Democrat-controlled Senate hasn't passed a budget for 1,365 days.

This is not how you govern a great country. It is reckless. It is cowardly. And it has got to stop. What are taxpayers paying Harry Reid and his Democrat colleagues to do? The American people deserve to know how our government intends to spend our money. And Congress does not deserve to be paid if no budget is passed.

Thats why I am writing you today, asking you to please sign the National Republican Senatorial Committees online PETITION demanding that Harry Reid put together a budget and send it to the Senate floor for an up or down vote.

And when you sign our PETITION, please also consider making one urgent contribution of $25, $50 or $100 to the NRSC to help bring more fiscal conservatives to the U.S. Senate.

Because while proposing a budget would be step one on the road to fiscal sanity, step two is electing a Republican Senate Majority so we can reform entitlements, cut spending, and pass a Balanced Budget Amendment.

P.S. Senate liberals wont even pass a budget the most basic function of government. Its enough to make me wonder why these people even bother running for oce. And so, Im asking the American people to put the heat on Harry Reid and demand he do his job.
