Touch a Double Tall Bus in Mukilteo Saturday

Snohomish County, Wash. – If you have not had the pleasure of riding one of Community Transit’s Double Tall buses, you can check one out this Saturday at the Mukilteo Touch-a-Truck event.

Kids young and old are encouraged to stop by the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave. (accessible by Route 113) to see the various trucks and cars that serve the community. Attendees will have a chance to board the Double Tall bus between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Community Transit staff will be there to answer any questions about the bus or our bus service.

The Mukilteo Touch-a-Truck event is free, but donations of non-perishable food items for the Mukilteo Food Bank are suggested. More information about the event is available at www.ci.mukilteo.wa.us/Calendar.asp?View=EVENT&EventID=767&Date=05/10/2014&SectionID=-1.

Community Transit has 23 Double Tall buses that run weekdays to and from downtown Seattle. The popular buses seat 77 but have standing room to accommodate 100 passengers. The agency has ordered 17 more Double Talls that will go into service in 2015. Learn more about these buses at www.communitytransit.org/doubletall.
